Hari ini PR kembali update, info ini saya peroleh ketika melihat status messagenya mas Harry(Persikers). Di statusnya saya melihat message kalo beliaunya sedang kehilangan PR3 dari 2 blognya, nggak apa mas, ayo cah Kediri… tetep semangat . Biasanya dalam update PR berikutnya akan kembali seperti sedia kala. Seperti beberapa blog milik om Fahry, yang dulunya dapet PR4 kemudian didegradasi menjadi PR0 sekarang sudah kembali dan beberapa yang semula PR3 menjadi PR0 sekarang juga sudah kembali lagi. Tidak menutup kemungkinan beberapa blognya juga ada yang drop ke PR0.

Hari ini Google resmi melakukan update PR(PageRank) untuk beberapa blog setelah terakhir tanggal 21 Oktober kemarin update. Update PR yang sekarang ini lebih banyak ditujukan untuk menurunkan PR beberapa blog ataupun domain. Tidak tanggung-tanggung, blog yang memiliki trafik lumayan seperti “Inspirasi Blog” milik mas Tony juga kena getahnya. Blog tersebut turun dari PR2 ke PR0. Wah, cukup kaget juga mendengar berita ini, karena baru-baru ini blog tersebut masuk ke Premium Market Place Reviewme.

Google telah lama menginformasikan bahwa click-through rate (CTR) tetap menjadi prioritas utama, Namun, sekarang prioritas ini telah dihapus. Hal ini dilakukan karena iklan yang mempunyai posisi index yang lebih tinggi dipencarian google biasanya mendapatkan lebih banyak klik, dan belum tentu pula iklan di posisi yang baik tersebut mempunyai konten yang relevan pada kata kunci yang dicari. Untuk menampilkan iklan yang paling relevan, Google akan menilai suatu iklan yang telah memiliki AdRank (quality score x CPC) cukup tinggi.

Sekarang, Google memungkinkan iklan di posisi 2 dan 3 untuk langsung menembus posisi 1 dan muncul di bagian kuning jika memiliki quality score yang cukup tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, google akan lebih mementingkan quality score daripada nilai bid yang Anda tawarkan pada saat mengikuti Adwords.
