Giant Oarfish


Giant Oarfish is the world’s longest bony fish – a copy of the oarfish giant 11 meters – appeared in yesterday Bovallstrand, Sweden. The fish, also known as the “king of herrings,” has not been observed in Sweden during the last 130 years. As a small fishing village Bovallstrand west coast of Sweden, has found a way a giant herring measures 11.4 meters long. The giant fish is known for its oarfish name that can reach 8 to 17 meters long. The scientific name is Glesne Regalecus.

The Maritime Museum said it took 130 years for this type of mortar to see their ribs. From Kurt Ove Eriksson said: “Down by the water, there was something great player. At first we thought it was a big piece of plastic. But when we saw an eye. Million Dollar Quartet


Million Dollar Quartet was nominated for three Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical (Levi Kreis) and best music book Escott (Colin & Floyd Mutrux). The show also received a Drama Desk nomination for Excellence in Musical Revue, an Outer Critics Circle nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Levi Kreis) and three Drama League nominations including Distinguished Production of a Musical Gentlemen and performance (Lance Guest and Levi Kreis).

Battle of Puebla


Cinco de Mayo (May 5) is much more a fun way for a full day of events to forget. Leave owes its existence to the Battle of Puebla, May 5, 1862, when the Mexican army seemingly insurmountable odds to defeat the invading troops of the French conquest of the conquered state of Puebla. The win is a cause for celebration for nearly 150 years later. Although the festival is from Mexico, the celebration known as Cinco de Mayo is now a favorite pastime for many Americans, too.

The common belief is that on May 5 coincides independence of Mexico. But that is celebrated September 16. Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that commemorates the Mexican army to victory over a much larger force in the Battle of Puebla French May 5, 1862. Oddly enough, Cinco de Mayo is not celebrated in Mexico, almost as much as the U.S. recognized as the most patriotic country’s National Day is actually the Independence Day of Mexico on September 16. Cinco de Mayo, but receives much attention in the United States not only Mexican-Americans, but all those interested in finding new forms of cultural show – largely through the efforts of Mexican restaurants and beverage companies.

Kent State


You might remember about the picture: a young girl knelt with long hairs on the lifeless body of a young man on the campus of Kent State University, his arms outstretched, his face looking and shouting to the world. The photo was taken shortly after noon, May 4, 1970, after the Ohio National Guard fired on a student demonstration, killing four. This protest would go wrong and tragic for some unexplained reason, the Ohio National Guard fired into the crowd after the tear gas to disperse the demonstration. Fox News’ James Rosen reported the Washington Times that the review of hundreds of reports of original research that the events that enveloped Northeast Ohio campuses actually started three days earlier in downtown Kent.

Cinco De Mayo History


Cinco de Mayo or “the fifth month of May”, marks the anniversary of the Battle of Pueblo, Mexico, who defeated a French army twice as large in 1863. Widely celebrated in the south of the border, the festival has grown into one day to the U.S. and other countries to celebrate. Cinco de Mayo is not a day of Mexican independence, which many people think. It is actually the day in Mexico defeated the French armies. In 1861, Benito Juarez, who served as president of Mexico at the time, decided that Mexico would cease making payments to the countries that they had taken loans. One such country is France. France responded by attacking Mexico. France already has some success in their attacks until 05/05/1862. That day in the city of Pueblo, Mexico, a small Mexican army led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin defeated the French armies.

The significance of the bird house placement


Crooked Houses – I remember my first building bird house when I was a kid, all excited to put it on the side of a tree in my garden. For months after, I would look at the bird house, but there was never any birds in it. I bought this home kit, so I was sure it was the size and the hole the right size. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and confused as to why no birds in the house.
