Downgrade PayPal = Permanent

Setelah saya hitung-hitung pengeluaran untuk biaya pemotongan dalam menerima pembayaran cukup banyak(halah nggak nyampe $10). Akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk mencari bagaimana cara downgrade ke Personal Account. Nanya si mbah dengan kata kunci “premier personal account paypal“. Bla… bla… bla… muncullah beberapa site, kemudian saya pilih link yang ini, punya blogger asal China sana. Intinya dia ingin downgrade ke Personal Account. Caranya: Contact Us &gt Contact Customer Service. Kemudian, Account &gt Changing Account Type dan tulis keinginan untuk mendowngrade Account PayPal.

E-mail yang dia terima setelah seminggu mengirimkan request:

Dear Dennison Uy,

Hello my name is Allyse, I am happy to assist you with your question
regarding downgrading your PayPal Account.

Let me first say that I am very sorry it has taken so long to answer
your email it is due to the high volume of emails we have been
receiving.

We appreciate that you have tried our PayPal Business/Premier account.
Per your request, your PayPal account has been downgraded from a
Business/Premier to a Personal account. Please note that with a Personal
account, you will no longer be able to receive unlimited credit card
funded payments and all payments received from eBay, auctions, and
Website Payment buttons (e.g. Buy Now Buttons, PayPal Shopping Cart, or
Subscriptions payments), will be limited to the equivalent of $500.00
USD per month. (This monthly limit applies to all US, UK and Canadian
Personal accounts.)

You are only permitted to downgrade from a Business/Premier account to a
Personal account one time. If you would like to upgrade your account to
a Business/Premier account in the future, it will remain a
Business/Premier account for the lifetime of the account.

If you exceed your monthly receiving limit, you will be given the choice
to accept or deny the payment. If you accept the payment, your Personal
account will be upgraded to a Premier account.

If you receive a credit card payment to your Personal account, you can:

· Accept the payment by upgrading to a Business or Premier account.
· Accept the payment for a fee. Personal accounts can receive a
limited number of credit card funded payments per year and are assessed
a transaction fee. To view our fee schedule, click “Fees” in the footer
of any PayPal page. To view your Personal account limit, log in to your
account and click the “View Limits” link.
· Deny the payment.
There are no fee adjustments or refunds on payments received.

Tapi, syaratnya setelah mendowngrade Account ini dipastikan bahwa account Anda tidak akan bisa diupgrade lagi ke Premier atau Bussiness. Wah, susah juga kalo begitu. Saya juga masih bingung mau downgrade apa nggak. Satu-satunya cara untuk mengupgrade lagi yaitu dengan membuat account baru lagi, waduh… VCC lagi… VCC lagi… :(

    hehehe.. sama nih, bingung juga mau downgrade ndak. :D dulu bikin premier karena sering dapet payment dari CC, sekarang dah jarang bgt dapet job langsung gitu.

    Sialnya, kalo pake Personal itu kita dibatasi hanya bisa menerima dana berapa gitu dalam sebulan. hehehe, saya keduluan nih ceritanya. Tapi gpp deh, malah melengkapi psotingan saya besok. :)

    Iya mas, kita hanya bisa menerima max $500/bulan juga gak bisa menerima pembayaran dari eBay atau fasilitas PayPal Shopping Cart lainnya

    Kalo baca dari email paypal ini kita bisa downgrade paypal cuman sekali. Tapi kalo nanti terpaksa upgrade (karena account personal dah kena limit bulanan) nanti ndak boleh downgrade lagi. Dengan kata lain account Business/Premier paypal kita jadi permanent!

    Jadi bisa upgrade lagi kok, cuman aku blom nyobak sendiri.

    Iya seh menurut isi dari emailnya. Tapi beberapa orang yang sudah nyoba downgrade dan pengen upgrade lagi ga disetujui supportnya. Saya takutnya yg seperti itu. Tapi gpp lah sekarang bussiness account, bisa buat fasilitas PayPal Shopping Cart. Itung2 potongannya buat sedekah… :D
